Review for I Know the Modern Prophets written by Chad Daybell and illustrated by Roger Whiting

· The Bottom Line:  Do you know which prophet rode his pony to school each day or which prophet played football for University of Utah?  If not you need to read the new book I Know the Modern Prophets.  This picture book is a great way for little children (toddlers) to learn about the prophets.  Each prophet is named and an interesting fact is shared about the prophet.

o A great story book
o Published as a board book so it is easily handled by little hands
o It gets you acquainted with the prophets and their names.
o Learn interesting facts about each prophet (I didn’t even know some of them)

o A 6x4 board book with 32 pages.
o Each two-page spread names a prophet and something about him.

· Review:  I enjoyed this book and even learned something new about some of the prophets.  Perfect for children under the age of 5 but I think a great book for anyone to read to learn an interesting fact about each prophet.  My son (he is 3) enjoyed this book and I am excited to share it with my nursery class on Sunday.  I liked this book best because not only is it fun but it teaches about the prophets and helps young people get to know them.
